"Hinna" means here.
No, I have not stooped to tattooing my feet (hah--no pun intended). It's henna, which is most often applied to brides and their bridesmaids before a wedding in celebratory tradition. Nope, I'm not a bride or bridesmaid, either. I just went over to someone's house who does it, and she treated those of us who were her guests. She does it freehand, and she's fast--beautiful results, too! The kind she used paints on black and rubs off to red in a day or so. Mine started fading after a week or ten days and was mostly gone in two weeks. If I had taken steps to preserve it, like applying Vaseline to the henna before I showered, it could have lasted longer.
