Happy Things

Steph and Lydia make their Happy Book debut! And the rest are from Matt and me . . . (and I do not need to stick up for my reputation, because my reputation should stick up for itself)

• Making Clayton Roth. laugh--really, really hard
• Kendra to Matt: "You're a girl-wanna-be?"
• Kendra: "Guys need more prayer than girls."
• Kendra: "You're going to jump off the building? That'd be good . . . Go ahead!"
• The LIT who prays for the "mailman who brings us our mail"
• Liz depicting "model plane" in charades
• The idea of Mr. Gergeni and Matt at a tea party
• My new nicknames: "Mrs. Kendra" and "the KW" (the Kendra Woman)
• Almost giving Joel a heart attack in Learning Center. Actually I think he scared me just as bad when he jumped like crazy!! :-) -SM
• Spending all evening in Kendra's office when she wasn't there! [I don't know if the happy thing was spending the evening in my office or me not being there.]
• "Enjoying" whiffs of 5 gallons of rotting hot chocolate off the van floor on the way to church, and covering Naomi's Bible and papers in nasty hot chocolate when I wiped out on the "slime"
• The shock of Ryan and Matt O. showing up for girls' leaders' meeting--in my room! (They happened to pick the time the meeting was starting to fill a maintenance request for Jessica's bathroom and didn't realize that Jessica's room was my room, where leaders' meeting was.)
• Certain girls liking the theme music on the Jeff Myers leadership DVDs
• Tobogganing
• Shamrock shakes
• Kendra thinking that I'm writing something derogatory in the Happy Book
• Clayton Roth.'s emerging teasing streak: "Is there a reason that everyone's standing with the [food line] table between them and Kendra?"
