"Dream come true" is totally a Megan S. saying from '98-'99. It can be used sarcastically or not. Today I use it very not sarcastically because the next Challenge outing is to
Washington, DC!!!
I've dreamed of doing something like that for years. Now the "I" dream is "our" (the department's) dream, and we're enjoying the planning stages. The trip will be in late May, Lord willing. The requirements have been laid out, and we've started chipping away at them.
I think it will be our wildest trip yet, though Clayton Roth. is skeptical that it will beat the Kentucky trip. The Kentucky trip was, indeed, amazing. But this is a whole week, and a big city, and an opportunity of a lifetime.

The KY trip was way cool...it'll be hard to beat...D.C. would be about the only place that has potential of topping it. But I still don't know if you can top the people that were on the KY trip...good times...setting up tents in the rain...pyro Kip...sitting in the water on the rocks with Kendra and Eva...Kendra drying her clothes under the hand dryer in a less than conventional way...looking for fire wood in the dark, in the rain...camping with air mattresses...pontoon boat...killing horse flies...tons and tons of memories...
Abby
Oh yeah...driving through a town with about seven businesses and nine Ale 8 machines.

YAY for you! Too bad I can't come.
It might beat the Kentucky trip, what beats setting up tents at night during a rainstorm? swimming in a beautiful lake... fire...
you'll have to let us know. ;)
