Happy Things

More happy things, this time all from others . . .
  • What do a cook and a maintenance man do to relax on a Sunday afternoon? Teach each other to crochet!
  • Danielle & Kippany on a mision to get Reese's from the EQUIP office
  • My roommate serving me snacks in bed--midnight snacks in bed are better than breakfast in bed
  • Jamie--surprising me on Secretaries' Day!
  • Hearing the Paine kids on Tabitha's birthday radio show. John Michael: "I love you very much"
  • Mrs. Paine's food!
  • Being scared to death by two other redheads when I was minding my own business
  • Dr. Paine's wisdom in handling situations
  • Having a roommate who likes the room cleaner than I do
  • When Mr. Grose gives me a cinnamon roll--hot--out of the oven
  • Hearing Kendra pray
  • Sacrificing Micaela's teddy bear Flint for a Wisdom Booklet project
  • Micaela giving Victoria's bear Sparkey a swirly in revenge
(Don't worry. We were play acting the stories that illustrate types of Christ, and one of them was Abraham and Isaac. The "swirly" was only tap water from the sink . . . or so Micaela says)
  • Going to an outdoor wedding when the high is 40 degrees with a windchill
  • Having Megan go home with me
  • Going Goodwilling for the first time in nine months, then doing it again three days later
  • Getting a hug from my daddy
  • Having my nephew, Winthrop, smile at me
  • Brothers and sisters
  • Talking to my mom on the phone
  • Learning to enjoy my roommate
  • Rollerblading!
  • John Michael sticking his head in Learning Center and asking, "Got any turtles?"
  • Getting a note from Victoria

oh *LOL* Is the cook Mr. Grose, and the maintenance guy - umm....Brian Davis perhaps? Surely not...I can't quite picture that! Crack me up...

Oh man...and the mention of a hot cinnamon roll... Now THAT is a painful memory, because I have suffered from not having any of the ITC baked specialties. One time they made cinnamon rolls out of brioche dough...they were to die for.

Very fun blog...keep it up Gurl! Say hey to Jamie...I shore do miss all my frisbee buddies.
