Wedding Time!

Andrea and I went to our first wedding in the newest wedding hall in town a few weeks back. The bride was the sister of a gal I met through her brother, who works in a hardware store where I've bought stuff.

I loved the feel of the hall--clean, modern lines and an overall classy feel. But when Andrea's local friends arrived, they immediately declared the hall "not nice." Why? we wondered.

"It's small," they explained.

They were right. It was less spacious than one or two of the older halls in town. But what it lacked in space, it made up for in class, so doesn't that count for something?

Apparently not. I've heard others comment on that hall being small, as well. Hey, I would just use it and have a small wedding. I can't show you good pictures of the hall, because taking them would have involved freaking out any nearby ladies who might have thought I was photographing them.

The food was normal catered wedding food--finger foods and soda. Vimto is kind of like a red Koolaid, and the canned kind is carbonated.
