I think I've blogged about this before, but this is a great culture for someone whose love language is gift-giving. Both of these pictures are gifts from visits with friends. Andrea and I visited the first gal for dinner, and she sent uscaway with a teddy bear, lotion, and incense.
We visited the second family for lunch with the mother of one of our co-workers. Boy, did they roll out the red carpet for her, and Andrea and got roses, too! I don't think I've gotten roses since my EQUIP days--though Clyde did surprise me once in NH with a bouquet of other flowers.
