Time for Desert!

I spent an afternoon and evening in the desert, courtesy of another student of my housemate! This student treated us to camel views (and a camel ride for my housemate), coffee, a scrumptious goat meat dinner under the stars, and dessert. They "incensed" us before we left (yep, you put the incense burner right under your dress and let the smoke go up and up) and put perfume on us. What fun we had!

We tried on the traditional face masks before we left. They say they are designed to accent the beauty of the eyes. Whoa--look at those Bill-Clinton-blue eyes! (Someone later that evening told me that I looked just like Bill Clinton! I don't know if it's the blue eyes or the white hair.) And I wasn't even wearing the mask!
