My teacher assigned me to write a letter to my sister for homework. This is my homework (which is the translation of the subject line). You probably won't be able to read it clearly, which is okay, because you probably can't understand it. And even if you can read the letters, you probably still can't understand it, because my spelling is atrocious, and I don't know all of the words. But five months ago, I didn't even know my letters, so this is progress.
Translation:
Dear K,
How are you? I am well, praise be to God. What did you do this week? How is class? How are the girls?
This week I saw a lot of friends. Monday I saw my friend Z and her family. I went to Baskin Robbins with a new friend, also. Tuesday I visited my friend A and her family. We went to a park. Wednesday I watched my friend's children. And today I saw my friend W. I was busy this week but I like to see my friends.
I hope that you are well. I miss you a lot.
Your sincere sister [because I haven't learned how to say "Love"],
K

I'm amazed!
And you know what's really weird? It still looks like your handwriting to me! It seems like it should look different or something, but it still looks like you, just you in a different costume : )
Keep up the great work!
I'm so impressed!
And, yes, I noticed how tidy your handwriting looked and how the weight and spacing did look like yours.
Hey Kenge, I'm impressed!! Well done :) I'll hear no more of this 'Arabic is too hard' business :P It's true - the writing looks like yours just in a different language - especially the 'ف's :)
