To Read and to Live

I was sitting on my bed yesterday and had a thought. This was because I was about to curl up on my bed and read a good book (The God I Love, Joni Eareckson Tada's memoirs). Psalm 131:2 came to mind. It described me perfectly that afternoon: quiet, satisfied in God and His love. I wasn't going to be reading the Bible, though. So my thought was this: Is it better to read the Bible, or to live the Bible? I could read the Bible all day and not be content in God. Or I could read a good book, completely at peace in Him. The latter, somehow, seems to be more what He's after. Or-better yet-both reading and living.

Kendra,

I've never posted on your blog, so I decided to say something. Oh btw good thought for the day. Being at peace in God's love is truly happy.
