Happy Things from Abby

Yes, a whole slew of happies, from Abby C. in Oak Brook . . .

          Reading Kendra's blog - some things make me laugh out loud.

          Working on illustrations of the metamorphosis of grasshoppers and Monarch butterflies for possible WB use.

          Practicing my violin.

          Living in the same house as Alicia for the first time in about eight years.

          Talking to Eva Bersche on the phone.

          An e-mail from Kip.

          Seeing comments from Felty posted on Kendra's blog.

          Buying new art supplies.

          My new glasses.

          My red quilt that Aunt Geneva made.

          Company for dinner.

          Pop-corn parties with the girlsies from work.

          Wearing tennis-shoes after a week full of dress shoes and heels.

          6:00am walks with Alicia.

          The third verse of Praise to the Lord the Almighty:

" Praise to the Lord who doth prosper thy work and defend thee;

Surely His goodness and mercy here daily attend thee.
Ponder anew

What the Almighty can do
If with His love He befriend thee." -Joachim Neander; 1680

*          Psalm 42:5-8

*          The book, The Non-Designers Design Book.

*          Dinner - so I'd better go now if I want to have time to make it.

I should start sending my happy things. It would remind to me to be thankful more often. I know this is bad but last week I couldn't think of one reason I loved being here at CU. I think I need to be more thankful.
