  • God arranging for something I had anticipated going slowly to go quickly

  • Two new books to read as I'm recovering
  • Talking to my dad for a long time and getting a glimpse of his goals for my next year
  • Someone asked me if I would be willing to do something that I've wanted to do, but I was hesitant to ask
  • My little brother was so happy that he and my sister were able to make a pizza all by themselves. "We followed the directions exactly except it said to use a fork to mix the dough-and not to use your hands; but we decided it was more fun to use our hands!"
  • Reenacting the event of coming off anesthesia for my brother
  • Receiving LOTS of Christmas cards this year! Thereby making this one of my most special Christmases! Although I spent the weekend recovering from knee surgery

I was kind of excited about the Down Easter, too, mainly (no pun intended) because I never went to one and now have a chance. I remember the Nor'easters well, but somehow always stayed home for Downeasters.
