Glimpses

I love the 1.5 hour drive from home to the capital. It's the best time to play music and sing at the top of my lungs and talk to Jesus.

Today "Is Anything Too Hard for God?" came on. I started singing it heartily:

"Is anything too hard for God?
Who's got a problem beyond his power to solve?
Are there situations he's not the master of?
Is anything too hard for God?"

And then I looked at the scenery I was driving by: Mountains. Rugged. Towering.

"I will lift up my eyes to the hills."

Well, they were mountains, hardly hills. But it was as if God was right there, saying, "Yep, I'm here. Stronger than any difficulty you encounter."

It was a little over a year ago that he spoke through the same scenery, telling me to look for where he is already working here. I'm still looking, still finding.

It's so hard to see where he is already working sometimes, isn't it?

Looking with you right here at home : )
