Happy Things

Time for some happy things to celebrate the beginning of 2012 . . .

• Being so happy to return "home" after a wonderful vacation
• The shock I gave the Indian cleaning ladies in the airport restroom when I entered a stall in normal clothes and emerged covered
• Friends and fellowship on vacation
• Fun jaunts with Lisa
• Mrs. A reading singles' profiles aloud from a Christian dating site ("body type: plus size," "Oh, here's one that looks nice; he's 66." I told her that she needed to confess that comment to her husband, but she insisted that she wasn't looking for herself.)
• Getting to see God's work in diverse parts of the world
• Extra sleep
• Fudge
• A sweet new apartment-mate and co-workers
• A temporary job reassignment (and anticipating returning to my regular job!)
• Kind neighbors
• Finding another Christmas present that I hadn't unwrapped before vacation
• Getting to use my new Christmas presents--Yankee scent tarts, G2 pens, book light, etc.
• Dreaming about the future
• My 2012 porch calendar from Mom
