Two Suitcases and a Carry-on

It's hard to boil your life down into two suitcases and a carry-on. Yet good. It challenges you to decide what's really important, and what can wait ten months until you are home. Eleven-and-a-half boxes sit right inside my apartment door. Piles of clothes and books lie around the luggage on the porch, awaiting my verdict. What will make the cut? $250 for an extra suitcase is a powerful incentive to minimize.
