Happy Things

Grateful for the small things in life . . .

• Mom fetching me the vacuum so that I could vacuum my living room
• People bringing me food and getting my mail
• Craig visiting me every day, despite my contagion
• That I'm in quarantine in a place where the windows open instead of a place where the windows don't (like the former hotel I lived in for 10+ years)
• Music
• Sunsets
• My view of the mountain
• E-mails from people from a variety of walks of life who are encouraging me at this time of decision-making in my life . . . this evening I pondered their e-mails and how we met, and I prayed for them, too
• Plants
• Books
• A clean apartment
• Specific answers to prayer yesterday
• Candles, and the intricately carved candle holder that Nicole bought me
• Sabbath
