So . . . what's the money-saving strategy for car rentals? I'm curious.
Well, they say that "domestic partners" can be added on as second drivers with no additional charge. I wondered aloud in whether that would extend to roommates! I mean, technically . . . However, I looked up the definition of "domestic partner," and it does say that you have to pay taxes together, which my roommate and I do not do. So my fabulous money-saving strategy will not work. :-(
