Happy Thing

Life was ordinary until I come downstairs this Monday morning and discovered that ol' Jeanne Marie (self-appointed president of my fan club) has created a fan club for me on Facebook . . . and that people are actually joining it!

Thanks to all the friends out there who read this who made my day with your encouraging comments and support. I wouldn't say I'm discouraged with my work, but sometimes it's just very ordinary. And today you reminded me that it's not ordinary. It's for Jesus and for people . . . and that's an extraordinary combination. I heard from people I haven't been in touch with for years . . . people I had almost forgotten meeting with . . . who recalled things I hadn't remembered. I loved you guys while you were here, and I still love you--and hope you know it!
