Happy Things

From Ruthie, Jamie, Matt, Micah, Kippany, and me . . .

  • Learning from my business text that St. Thomas Aquinas is responsible for formulating the virtues faith, hope, and love
  • A health conference guest, assuming that the security system on the front doors was motion activated, dancing and waving wildly at the door every time she wanted to go out!
  • Asking Danielle if she just woke up, and she replied saying, "After my shower."
  • Having a terrible day on Saturday J
  • Having good talks with friends
  • Road trip in April
  • God's faithfulness and unchanging love
  • Finishing a good book
  • Kendra singing to Danielle in her meeting to put her to sleep
  • Making dinner in the room with Bekah and Sarah
  • My college creaming Craig's college in baseball
  • Megan telling me that my middle name makes her think of the song "How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria?" . . . and trying to reconstruct how it goes: "She's a witch!"
  • Tim P., after seeing an obvious mistake he made in math, "Hmm-so THAT'S why I have to go to Learning Center."
  • A certain LIT having an uncanny resemblance to "Mr. Beaver" in the LWW
  • Running in the pre-dawn artistic March rain with Matt
  • Kicking bad attitudes!
  • Going home for the weekend
  • My Telos assignment is done J
  • Confusion over the preposition "in" . . . The Frazier boy telling us to watch out for snowboarders, who were likely to be "in the trees"
"Do they jump out?" I asked, incredulous.
    "Yes, like jaguars," he joked.
What he really meant was that snowboarders are likely to be "in among" the trees
  • "At tea, you sit down and have tea." -Thomas Paine, enlightening us all
  • Watching Mallory attempt to eat with chopsticks
  • Laughter at the Harmony class table
  • Micah screaming out loud when he opened the stairwell door to see me
  • Joel telling Mr. Schupbach, "No," when Mr. Schupbach guessed his name as Joel . . . then realizing that that was the wrong answer
  • Jonathan asking Mr. Schupbach, "Are you sure?" when Mr. Schupbach recalled his name as Jonathan
  • Mr. Norcross telling us that if Brooke had been a boy, he wanted to name her "Brock Lee"
  • Nate "helping" Joel rescue his runaway egg by kicking it across the hall
  • Being nominated to be president of the Hamsters club, even though I've never attended a meeting
  • Sitting at the birthday table with Rachel!
  • In the middle of a serious conversation with Gina in my office, she spied my balloon. Her eyes widened: "You had a baby!?"

I laughed a LOT about the person dancing for the camera trying to get in and out of the building!!! Hilarious! Wish I could have seen THAT!

And then I STOPPED laughing when you included that part about my college getting creamed by your college in baseball. Why would you be happy about that? And I'M the one who told you! How dare you insinuate your school is superior to mine! You are officially uninvited to my recital, which is an event of my poor, inferior school...you can go watch Liberty's baseball team instead.
