More Pieces Coming Together

To follow up on the last post, I've been asking Father for work when I get home. Guess what? I heard word that a company I've done proofreading for has lots of work right now. And the new supervisor at the social services agency I love working for e-mailed me and said that I would be a big help to them this summer. Oh, and by the way, the new supervisor is going on vacation for a month, so could I please work out the details with my old supervisor, who is pretty much the Best Supervisor Ever. And there might be an opening or two to sub at Central before the end of the year, too.

I'm also set up to take six hours a week of language when I get home. I would have loved to have more, but between the difference in time and difference in weekends, that's going to be the max. I thought "five days a week--no problem," until I remembered that my teacher teaches primarily Saturdays-Wednesdays. Saturday class? Nope. Sunday morning pre-church class? I think I'll pass. Thursday I would do, but she teaches only Thursday mornings, which would be about 3:00 AM my time. Never mind. And Fridays she doesn't do. So Mondays through Wednesdays, 7:00 AM-9:00 AM or 8:00-10:00 AM it is!

Now I just need to find people to practice with, a car, and lots of people to tell about my life this past year!
