- The seasons. When I go in the store and see fall decorations, I think, "I love fall." When I go in and see Christmas decorations or snowflakes, I think, "I love Christmas and winter."

Aunt Lorraine: "Well, it was a prayer, and I didn't know if God would know which 'mom' it was." - Relatives discussing Uncle Earl's slippery driveway: "If you slid down the driveway, it wouldn't be fun."
