Gretchen attacking the weedsWhat's more fun than catching up on life on a Sunday afternoon? An impromptu yard cleanup with a bunch of people from church! The last Sunday in October, an impromptu yard cleanup was organized in prayer meeting, in honor of Pastor Appreciation Month. A whole pile of people showed up at my house. We raked, pulled weeds and roots (even big ones, with the tractor), and generally spiffed up the whole yard. (Mr. Reed even improved the mountain view later!) These pictures are of just a few of the people who showed up. My parents got quite a surprise when they returned from their anniversary trip! Thanks to everyone who pitched in!
