Happy Things

Yep, from me again . . .

• Getting Landon to say "Kendra"--well, he got the two syllables
• Ernesto telling me that he was about to be a "happy heapy [hippy]" when he cleaned the white board with alcohol
• Jordan K. being thorough in his sweeping
• Olivia K. coming in to clean the grill when she was not assigned to lunch chores and, when I thanked her, telling me, "That's what we're here for!"
• "The balloons are free today!" --Jordan K., after offering Anna K. a semi-full trash bag that he had propped up to look balloon-ish
• "Does that soothe their nerves while you talk to them?" --Chef, with a smirk, after I asked him if I could have another milk to make chocolate milk for Faith
  
• Mr. Williams getting up at lunch and announcing, "Patryce and I are expecting," then sitting down . . . after people clapped, continuing, "Our third grandchild."
• Mrs. Williams being horrified that Mr. Williams did not clarify that none of their single children is expecting a baby
• Ernesto warning the Kraft boys about what Matt would do to them if they kicked him
• Our motley dinner table crew--due to lack of dining room seating: the Gomez family, the oldest two Kraft boys, and the girls' LIT department
