Happy Things

• Walking in the rain downtown and getting absolutely drenched!
• The security guard at the museum telling us that there was a mop in the closet that we could use to dry off
• The dummy in the washer . . . "Miss Kim strikes again"
• Micaela is back
• Making a "kick pleat" for Danielle's skirt out of her paper scrubs from the rheumatologist when we were at the park and she couldn't run
• When Danielle and I began exercising for the Challenge the first night and we both got hurt!
• Caleb's "announcements"
• Punching Carl
• Watching two guys trying to fix a garden hose with a butane torch
• Victoria digging feverishly through her clean laundry and exclaiming, "I can't find any stinkin' socks!" I should hope not
• Watching Victoria "reap in due season" after a long stretch of "fainting not"
• Spending the weekend with old friends . . . Summer, Colleen, Jamie, Grace-Emma, Mary . . . remembering past good times and making new memories
• Baby blue eyes strike back!!! Somebody loves beautiful Kendra (with the real blue eyes)
• In ITC for two days! Yay!
• A day in the park
• Watching Mic crawl off the elevator because she was laughing so hard

• Playing my violin for Mr. Grose in the kitchen after finishing brunch prep early (but not when he made me play into the dining room microphone)
• My little brother asking, "How long before you have to go back to the LIT?" (meaning the ITC)
• My little brother telling me that I should call Kendra and tell her that I needed to stay at home as long as I'd been away from home
• Peanut butter--carrots, cucumbers, broccoli, oranges

• Practicing a Norwegian phrase on Micaela--"er du gift?" ("are you married?")--and having her respond, "No, thank you." (Well, I wasn't offering!) [This was Kendra's thought, not mine. --Micaela]
• Picnics and impromptu water fights
• Atrocious suits and Jr. bridesmaids
• Victoria saying, "Don't stare at my shoes intimately!"
• Mannequin heads in toilets
• Ana Liza saying, "Me, my stuff, and I" as she dug through the piles on her bed
• Mr. Gergeni saying, "Yes, sir" to me, then catching himself
• Snipe hunting "success"!
• Grilling outdoors
• Eating stuff grilled outdoors
• Standing, jumping, and sitting on sleeping bags in laundry room to roll them up for storage. Sweating away and giggling so hard at Danielle, "The Master"
