Happy Things

• Miss Howard telling me, "Honey, please let me get my bearings . . . which I don't have any."
• Finding my key in my waistband after borrowing Micaela's key because mine wasn't in my pocket
• A charismatic Miss Howard
• "Injury hugs"
• Rebecca motivated to get no late stay, purple x's, or homework in Learning Center and all the things that tried to hinder her from reaching her goal! She triumphed in the end, though!
• Watching God answer prayer in miraculous ways
• Knowing God is in control, trusting God is in control, and having one day where, everywhere I turned, God clearly showed me He was in control
• Overheard in the food line . . .
  Mr. Norcross: Tonight's my first night on security. In devotions we prayed [or need to pray] for the person who tries to get by me.
  Mrs. Rodgers to Mr. Rodgers: Jim, honey, I don't think we'd better go out tonight.
• A certain Refine director (who requested to be referred to as a "youth center youth") doing flower aerobics to help our freshly planted flowers grow: "Up, flowers, up."
• The mayhem of attempting to plant flowers with the youth center kids
• Papa John's pizza at the youth center
• Line running with Alicia Gomez and learning Spanish for "Thank you for your help."
• Seeing Sarah and Bekah Juday again
• Kind gentlemen removing the unused toilet to create more space in the EQUIP bathroom
• The LIT who quoted, "Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity" to her leader in Learning Center, then finished with, "Go away. I don't want unity."
